Day 1DEPART KOLKATA By Flight

Get ready and assemble at the Airport for a journey to the Pharaonic times to the ‘Land of The Nile’.

Day 2ARRIVE CAIRO By Flight

Meet on arrival at Cairo Airport. Freshen up and proceed for a visit to The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East which houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world including the famous ‘Treasures of Tutankhamun’ . Check in Hotel. Evening enjoy Sound & Light Show at The Pyramids. Lunch, Dinner& overnight in Cairo.

Day 3CAIRO – ASWAN By overnight 1st Class Sleeper Train

Breakfast. Enjoy a tour of one of the Seven Wonders of The Ancient World- Three Pyramids of Giza, built by the Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Also visit the Sphinx limestone statue of a prominent mythological figure. Visit the Step Pyramids of Sakkara, the oldest complete stone building complex known in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, built during the Third Dynasty. After tour transfer to Train Station for 1st Class Sleeper train to Aswan. Lunch, Dinner& overnight on board Train.

Day 4ASWAN CRUISE BOARDING

Breakfast on board. Meet on arrival & proceed to enjoy Aswan tour. Visit The Temple of Philae, the Temple of Isis majestically standing on Agilkia Island. Visit The High Dam one of the world’s largest embankment dams, which was built across the Nile in Aswan. Transfer to Cruise and check in. Lunch on board. In the afternoon enjoy a tour by Felucca a traditional wooden sail boat that is powered by the wind. Relax on this tranquil ride on the Nile as you sail around Elephantine Island, the Botanical Garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Return back to the Cruise. Dinner & overnight on board Cruise.

Recommended Optional – Visit to the Nubian Village which is such a cheerful sight for being painted with bright colours and inhabited by Nubians whose population doesn’t exceed 100,000. They speak their own Nubian Languages and have specific traditions that are different from rest of Egypt. Their origin goes back to Africa and Sudan when they traveled in antiquity to south Egypt for farming around the Nile.

Day 5ASWAN – ABU SIMBEL – ASWAN By Coach CRUISE CONTINUES

Early morning leave with Breakfast Boxes for Abu Simbel site of the Two Temples built by the greatest of the Pharaohs Ramses II and is one of the most famous and important monuments in Egyptian history and culture, especially in the Pharaonic era. Drive through the sand dunes of the vast Nubian Desert, Eastern extension of the Great Sahara Desert. Visit the two Temples located 300 km southwest in the Nubian Desert on the banks of Lake Nasser near the Sudanese border. Return back to Cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Ombo, dedicated to twin Gods Sobek the Crocodile God and Haroeris the Falcon God Horus. Sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board Cruise.

Day 6CRUISE CONTINUES

Breakfast on board. Visit Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the deity Horus and located on a hill overlooking the Nile. This spectacular Temple of Edfu is considered to be the best preserved of the Ancient Egyptian shrines. Lunch on board. Sailing to Esna. Cross Esna Lock constructed to control the flow of Nile water to preserve and store the water for agriculture and to improve navigation in the river Nile. Sail to Luxor. Evening visit to Luxor Temple large Ancient Egyptian temple complex temple built on the east bank of the Nile River, dedicated to the deities Mut, Khonsu, and Amun. Dinner and overnight on board Cruise.

Day 7CRUISE ENDS LUXOR – HURGHADA By Coach

Breakfast. Visit of West Bank, including The Colossi of Memnon two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut who became a Pharaoh at Deir El- Bahari. Visit to the Valley of Kings famous for its royal tombs. These beautifully painted tombs have been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. SPECIAL ATTRACTION – ENTRANCE TO THE TOMB OF TUTANKHAMEN.

Tutankhamen wasn’t an especially important king, but his tomb was the only royal burial found intact in modern times. The tomb was important because it let archaeologists record what an Egyptian king’s tomb looked like and learn more about ancient Egypt. Lunch. Proceed to visit the Karnak Temple a part of the Karnak Temple Complex an open air museum on the East Bank of Nile. After tour proceed to Hurghada – a beach resort Town on Egypt’s Red Sea coast famous for gorgeous Beaches and one of world’s most prominent Scuba diving and Snorkelling Centers. On arrival check in Hotel. Lunch, Dinner with unlimited Drinks and overnight in Hurghada. Recommended Optional : Hot Air Balloon Ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum

– Luxor. Sail high over the famous monuments of Luxor on a sunrise hot air balloon ride. At the end take home a Flight Certificate as a lifetime memory.

Day 8HURGHADA

Breakfast. Set sail on-board a semi-submarine with panoramic windows affording spectacular underwater views as you cruise along the Red Sea coast. Dive in to swim and snorkel among vibrant corals, along the reef and look out for exotic fish and marine life. Enjoy a 2 hours sailing on the turquoise waters of the Red Sea.

Return back after tour. Rest of the day enjoy the day at leisure at this most beautiful Resort of Egypt by the Red Sea. Don’t forget to carry your Swimwear to swim in the private Beach of the Resort. Relax by the Beach or by one of the Swimming Pools of the Resort. Breakfast. Return back to Cairo. Enjoy this journey along the Red Sea Coast enjoying view of the marvellous turquoise blue waters of the Red Sea, with rest-stops along the route. Check in Hotel. Lunch, Dinner & overnight in Cairo.

Day 10CAIRO – ALEXANDRIA - CAIRO By Coach

Breakfast. Leave for Alexandria a Mediterranean Port City. Full Day Alexandria Tour, visit the Bibliotheca Alexandria built on the same site of the original Library founded by Ptolemy in the 3rd Century BC and held

record for the world’s largest and most complete library, and it is regarded to have had a significant influence on the evolution of Western philosophy. Visit magnificent Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa most striking remnant of ancient Alexandria which depicts the ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultural mixture. Also visit Pompeii’s Pillar a Roman triumphal column. Lunch. Stop for photos at the picturesque Fortress – Qaitbey Citadel, built by Sultan Qaitbey during the 14th century to defend Alexandria from the advances of the Ottoman Empire. Day 11CAIRO

Breakfast. Start a day of adventure as you set off to Fayoum Oasis for a full day tour. Visit to Wadi Hitan or Valley of the Whales, which is a Protected Area, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 and contains invaluable 40 million year old skeleton fossils of the earliest, extinct whales. The fossils represent one of the major stories of evolution, the emergence of the whale as an ocean-going mammal from a previous life as a land-based animal. Visit Egypt’s highest Water Falls ,Wadi El Rayan Water Falls a natural depression located in the Western Desert. After lunch proceed for a boat ride on Lake Moeris or Lake Qarun commonly called as ‘The Magic Lake’ as it magically changes colors several times every day depending on day time and amount of sunlight. Return back to Cairo. Dinner & overnight in Cairo.

Day 12CAIRO

Breakfast. Check out of Hotel. Proceed to visit the medieval Islamic Fortification in the centre of Cairo – The Citadel of Salah-al-Din al-Ayyubi (Saladin). Visit the Mosque of Muhamad Ali , which is also known as The Alabaster Mosque. The mosque, the largest such structure built during the first half of the 19th century, is more impressive at a distance than close up. It is an unparalleled contribution to the skyline of Cairo, visible high atop the Citadel grounds while its great dome and towering minarets give the Citadel a romantic, oriental feel. In its architecture, Muhammad Ali Pasha, viceroy and effectively king of Egypt, as well as the founder of Egypt’s modern era, achieved a radical break with all traditional characteristics of Cairo architecture from the Mamluk to the late Ottoman period. Visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar located in the center of Islamic Cairo, housing a lot of mini bazaars and traditional coffee shops. Lunch, Dinner. Transfer to Airport after midnight for departure flight from Cairo.
