Baranti is a developing tourist centre found in the lap of a Gorongi Hill. The Panchkot Hill surrounds this village at one side and the Biharinath Hill on the other, with water storage under Ramchandrapur Medium Irrigation Project. This area is famous for hill and wilderness trekking due to its native environment. Garh Panchkot is only 12 km away, and Joychandi Pahar just 21 km away from Baranti. Biharinath, the Araku Valley of Bengal is just 18 km from Baranti.
